⬆️Measles - Increasing Cases in the UK⬆️

The MMR vaccine is the safest and most effective way to protect against measles, mumps and rubella. Measles is more than just a rash with one in five children needing a hospital visit.

Measles symptoms include: high fever, sore, red, watery eyes: coughing; aching and feeling generally unwell; a blotchy red brown rash, which usually appears after initial symptoms. If you have symptoms of measles, stay at home and phone your GP or NHS 111 for advice. Stay away from GP surgeries and A&E departments.

Measles spreads easily and anyone who is not vaccinated can catch it. Measles can cause serious complications and can be fatal, so make sure you’re up to date with MMR vaccinations to give them the best protection against becoming seriously unwell

If your child has missed any of their MMR vaccines, contact us today
